2-Day University School

“Education is to train the heart to love that which deserves loving.”

- John Hodges on the quadrivium

Logic (Jr High) and Rhetoric (High School) courses are delivered in a University-style format. Classroom teachers deliver all of the content. Parents support students in completing homework.

2 classes: Math and Writing are offered through Summit Homeschool Academy, which is a separate and distinct school. It's a publicly funded tuition-free homeschool program.( If you are enrolled in Summit Homeschool Academy, you automatically qualify for the SHA discount.)

+3 classes: We offer Science , History + choose 1 elective (Music & Art or Aplogetics). At Summit Christian Academy, the content is classically-driven and taught from a Christian worldview. Our educators are experts in their field who live out their faith both in and out of the classroom.

+ Basecamp: Basecamp is a Christ-centered community-night, led by Pastor Dave Runyan. We will have guest speakers to inspire us on how to live out our lives with evidence of our core virtues: Wisdom, courage and compassion.

*Worship band is an after-school activity that meets weekly and offered for an additional fee. Must audition. Sign-ups for worship band auditions are sent out after the first day of school.
